🛕 Char Dham Yatra by Road – 12 to 14 Day Round Trip Itinerary from Delhi

📍 Route: Delhi → Haridwar → Barkot → Yamunotri → Uttarkashi → Gangotri → Guptkashi → Kedarnath → Badrinath → Rishikesh → Delhi

🗓️ Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi to Haridwar (230 km / 6 hrs)

• Depart early from Delhi

• Evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri
  Overnight: Haridwar

Day 2: Haridwar to Barkot (210 km / 7–8 hrs)

• Scenic drive via Mussoorie
  Overnight: Barkot

Day 3: Barkot to Yamunotri and back (Drive + Trek)

• Drive to Janki Chatti (45 km)

• Trek 6 km one-way to Yamunotri Temple

• Return trek and drive to Barkot
  Overnight: Barkot

Day 4: Barkot to Uttarkashi (100 km / 4–5 hrs)

• On the way: Visit Prakateshwar Cave
  Overnight: Uttarkashi

Day 5: Uttarkashi to Gangotri and back (200 km round trip)

• Visit Gangotri Temple (3048 m elevation)

• Return to Uttarkashi
  Overnight: Uttarkashi

Day 6: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (230 km / 9–10 hrs)

• Long but beautiful journey
  Overnight: Guptkashi

Day 7: Guptkashi to Kedarnath Base Camp (Drive + Trek / Helicopter)

• Drive to Gaurikund (30 km)

• Trek 18 km to Kedarnath OR helicopter from Phata/Sersi
  Overnight: Kedarnath (Basic dharamshala/camp stay)

Day 8: Kedarnath to Guptkashi (Trek back and return)

• Return trek and drive back
  Overnight: Guptkashi

Day 9: Guptkashi to Badrinath (210 km / 8 hrs)

• Scenic drive via Joshimath
  Overnight: Badrinath

Day 10: Badrinath Darshan + Mana Village

• Visit Badrinath Temple, Tapt Kund, Mana (last Indian village)
  Overnight: Badrinath or Joshimath

Day 11: Badrinath to Rudraprayag (160 km / 6 hrs)

• Visit confluence of Alaknanda & Mandakini rivers
  Overnight: Rudraprayag

Day 12: Rudraprayag to Rishikesh (140 km / 5 hrs)

• Visit temples, Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat
  Overnight: Rishikesh

Day 13: Rishikesh to Delhi (230 km / 6–7 hrs)
